Your space, your privacy.
This is your space. For innertempo to work as a quiet mirror, you need to feel certain that your data is for your eyes only.
We do not sell your data, we do not track your behaviour across the web, and we do not use your life to train external models.
What we collect
We only collect what is essential to make your space function:
- Your email address and display name: So you can log in and be identified within the app.
- Your entries: Everything you choose to share — mood, energy, sleep, body state, notes, plans, and more.
- Sign-in provider details: If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive only the email address associated with that account. We do not access any other Google or Microsoft data.
- Calendar events (optional): If you connect Google Calendar or Outlook from Settings, we store your event titles, dates, and times so they can appear on your Day timeline. This connection is entirely optional. If you disconnect a calendar, all synced events are immediately removed from innertempo.
- Basic technical logs: Minimal data used only to ensure the app stays stable and secure for you.
What we never collect: We don't use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics, or any tools that track your behaviour outside of this app.
How your data is used
Your information exists only to serve your experience:
To keep your account secure and the service running smoothly.
To help you notice patterns: Your entries are used to show you the tempo of your days. Patterns are shown automatically by looking directly at what you have recorded. No AI is involved in this step.
We do not use your entries to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or analyse your life for any purpose other than your own reflection.
Your patterns & writing
When innertempo helps you see a pattern, it looks at what you've recorded (like mood, energy, rest, and body state) and your notes.
Literal Reference
Your writing is referenced exactly as you wrote it to help you see your own thoughts clearly.
No Profiling
We don't use your notes to build "user profiles" or categorise you. Your words remain yours.
Protecting your space
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your entries are protected while they travel to our servers and while they are stored there. Access is strictly limited to what is necessary to keep the service running.
Cookies
We use functional cookies only. These are small files that allow the app to remember who you are so you don't have to log in every time you change pages.
Data retention
Your journal entries, notes, and AI-generated summaries are retained as long as your account is active. You remain in full control of your data for as long as you use innertempo.
When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. We do not keep copies after deletion.
Security records: Invite redemption records and admin security logs contain only a hashed (non-reversible) representation of IP addresses, retained for up to 12 months for security integrity purposes. These records do not contain your entries, notes, or any identifiable personal content.
Your rights
Access your data
You can export your entire history as a ZIP archive, Excel spreadsheet, or HTML file from your Settings at any time.
Correct your data
You can edit your entries directly in the app at any time. For account-level corrections, contact us at connect@innertempo.app.
Delete your account
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Settings. Deletion is permanent.

If you have concerns about how your data is being used, reach out at connect@innertempo.app and we will address them.
Services we rely on
innertempo runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or advertising tools of any kind.
- Cloudflare Workers & D1: Hosting and database. Your data is stored on Cloudflare's servers.
- Cloudflare Workers AI: Generates natural language pattern summaries. Processing occurs entirely within Cloudflare's own infrastructure — your data does not leave Cloudflare's network.
- Resend: Transactional email only (password reset links and invite notifications). Only your email address is shared for this purpose.
- Google OAuth: Optional sign-in and optional Google Calendar connection. We receive only your email address and, if calendar is connected, your event titles and times.
- Microsoft OAuth: Optional sign-in and optional Outlook Calendar connection. Same scope as Google.
